technological tools/past and present
Relacionado a un país: Australia

I was walking on the beach in northern Australia. As usual I was listening to my mp3 player. On it was a speaker talking about his ideas about technology and education. It was uplifting. As I slowly meandered I suddenly realised another man was walking waste deep in the ocean. He was connected with a spear and Woomera fishing for stingray. As we passed, our eyes quickly gazed in the others direction. I was wondering if he saw a 21st century citizen the way I saw a 19th century man? Maybe he just saw a silly foreigner wasting his time walking on the beach when all the action was in the water where he was. I felt we connected for that brief second. The future together/the past and present I am not sure. I seem to think about it more and more now. At the time it was too short to appreciate, to wonder about. The next time I see him will it be different? I wonder if he caught a stingray?
